Hey there, I am Shayla! My family and friends were the first subjects I photographed and all these years later, they are still my favorite view behind the lens.

Prior to becoming a professional photographer, I studied American Sign Language Interpretation and have lived all over the world as a military spouse. These diverse and unique cultural experiences enable me to foster a special connection with my subjects.

In March of 2020, my family and I decided to plant our forever roots back home in Northeast Ohio.  Officially rooted, and navigating the pandemic with a young family, I threw myself into my life long passion of photography. 

I love capturing life's moments, getting creative, and using the power of an image to tell a story. I would love the opportunity to make your vision a reality!
